Construction is officially underway on the highly anticipated main entrance off Via Coconut Point! This new gateway will seamlessly connect the Estero Park & Recreation Center with the future Sports & Recreation Hub and the Bonita/Estero Rails to Trails project.

This project is set to transform nearly 100 acres into Estero’s “Village Hub” for sports, recreation, and community life. Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

High 5 Entertainment (Phase 1, opening Fall 2026)

• 15 outdoor + 6 indoor pickleball courts

• 16 bowling lanes + 8 duckpin lanes

• Mini golf , bocce, axe throwing, immersive laser tag & VR arcade

• Escape rooms, patio dining & a full-service restaurant

Sports Fields & Courts

• New tennis, pickleball & basketball courts

• Flex fields for multi-sport use

• Future baseball & softball fields

• Upgraded turf stadium with scoreboard + seating improvements

Community Features

• Event lawns for gatherings & recreation

• Walking/biking trails connected to BERT

• Plans for a driving range, climbing walls, and other partnerships under review

Timeline

The project will be built in phases over the next 5 years, beginning with the entrance, site work, and High 5 Entertainment opening in 2026.
